What's good:
The Pulsar 200NS is a flagship model of the Bajaj. It comes with a new innovative design that gives it an aggressive look. The 200NS is as modern approaches as it gets with latest design cues, current chassis and futuristic engine technology. The unique design of the headlamp gives an aggressive stance to the motorcycle, when viewed from the front. Few of its pros are given below:
- Aggressive Style
- Brembo Brakes
- Good Performance
What's bad:
Everything is pretty much about the performance and style of the bike, but somewhere it might disappoint the buyers. Thus, this variant is not equipped with the Fuel Injection system and Anti-Braking System.
Power to mileage:
Bajaj Auto, however, has added some standard features that give a good power and mileage. It comes with a 199cc engine, which shares some of its mechanics with the KTM Duke 200. It sends a linear power and torque. It comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Few of its power to mileage points are given below:
- Maximum Power 23.52PS
- Maximum Torque 18.30NM
- Mileage in City 30.20KMPL
- Mileage in Highway 40.30KMPL
Handling and riding:
The Pulsar series known by its handling, the handling of 200NS is too pretty much that gives a smooth and effortless ride to the riders and it is very easy to chuck into corners. Moreover, the rear mono shock suspension does a good work along with the wide rear tyre on the corners in wet condition.
Safety:
The 200NS comes with a Nitrox charged mono shock suspension at the rear and conventional hydraulic fork at front that adds to stability under hard braking by reducing fork dive. The 200NS uses Brembo petal type front and rear discs that allow the riders to stop the bike from 60kph in a scant 16.4 meters during brake testing. Few of its safety features are given below:
- High Beam Headlight
- Disc Brakes
- Suspensions
Maintenance:
The Maintenance of the Bajaj’s high displacement models is almost good. Moreover, the maintenance of Pulsar 200NS is good, but to retain the power and mileage, it requires least care after a time interval.
Verdict:
The Pulsar 200NS will impress the riders in every way. It is the alternative to the KTM Duke 200 and the price of this bike is less than other sports bike in its category.
