It has half cowl fairing cast makes its appearance more appealing. In its instrument cluster, display of digital speedometer, analog tachometer, digital fuel gauge, turn indicators, water temperature and light/ high-beam etc. are included. Few of its pros are given below:

Power to mileage:
The Yamaha FZ1 is featured with a 999cc, liquid cooled, 4 cylinder DOHC engine, mated to 6-speed transmission generates the max power of 148 BPH at the rate of 11,000 RPM and the max torque of 106 NM at the rate of 8,000 RPM, and for the transmission of power it has a wet type clutch is immersed in a cooling lubricating fluid which also keeps the surfaces clean and gives smoother performance and longer life. The bore x stroke of the bike are 77mm x 53.6 where the ratio of bore-and-stroke shows a short stroke engine with lower friction losses and torque generation at high RPM. Few of its power to mileage features are given below:
- 999cc Engine
- Maximum Power 148 BHP at 11,000 RPM
- Maximum Torque 106 NM at 8,000 RPM

Handling and riding:
The widest rear tyre helps the Yamaha FZ1 stay comfortable over the rough terrain, but the wide handlebars and an upright seating position are inadequate for a high speed cruising. Furthermore, the work of front and rear suspensions are well over the rough terrain.
Safety:
For a safe and comfortable ride, it includes a 320mm front dual disc and a 245mm single rear disc brake on wheel to control this brute at the shortest distance whether you drive it slow or at great speed. Few of its safety features are given below:
- Front Telescopic Suspension

Verdict:
The price of Yamaha FZ 1 is more affordable than its rivals in its class. The class leading performance and naked sporty look grabbed much attention from the crowd. Thus, the bike has a complete value for money in its category.
