What's Good
Glamour is a decent bike for mild speed riders. The reliability of Hero Motocorp is great and so is the convenience of this bike. It makes good balance between power and economy.
What's Bad
Hero Glamour has good on-road presence and style, but there are few places where it lags behind. Suspensions and gear box are a bit on tougher side and makes the rider feel exhausted.
Power to mileage
The mileage and the power which are found in thjis bike are not upto the mark. On paper, the Glamour delivers 9 BHP of power off to its 125 cc engine. This much of power will surely hike the mileage, but the room for power will see darker side.
Handling and riding
The bike handles well while scaling the street lanes, but highways are not mad for this bike. The tubular double cradle frame is good and stiff. Glamour has seen so many years of Indian commuting, and hence it is getting older in the multitude of modern bikes.
Safety
The drum brakes have good statistics to generate the cutting potential of this not-so-potentially perfect bike. The frame and handle endow good confidence while cruising. Apart from this, it has few general safety features.
Maintenance issues
The maintenance issues don't have much significance for Hero bikes. The arduousness regarding frequent hick-ups won't be a hurdle with Hero.
Verdict
Hero Glamour is a good choice to have in the budget range, but it is recommended only if the other options available are not upto the personal choice of user. With the current generation of future technology ready bikes, the Glamour feels a bit dull.
