Suzuki, a Japanese manufacturer, revised the styling features in new Access 125. Except for the front apron and mudguard which are of metal, rest of the body is made up of plastic. The front panel appearance gives the look of matured, firm and reliable scooter. The side look is keen and able to create a sleeker appearance of the scooter. The panel fit is amazing and suggesting to be solid for years. It has a chrome headlight, sealed beam, apron, and ditto indicator in the panel setup. Apart from this, the scooter features aerodynamic body contours, a 3D emblem logo, a multi-function instrument cluster with digital display, a new Suzuki Easy Start System and chrome-finished multi-reflector headlamps. The scooter has a 6-litre fuel tank to give sincere range without any hurdle and 20 litre under seat storage compartment. The scooter is available in 6 color variants which include Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray, Candy Sonoma Red, Metallic Sonic Silver, and Pearl Mirage White. Power And Mileage

The bike is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder engine along with a CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission). The Suzuki access 125 has a SEP which allows the scooter to render better performance and economy. The scooter is able to churn out a maximum power of 8.75 PS at 7,000 RPM and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm at 5,000 RPM. It weighs 102 kg with an excellent number in getting 60kmph in a fast 7.11s with the maximum speed of 93.4kmph. Handling And Riding

The addition of extra torque and linear power spread enabled the new Suzuki Access variation in higher gearing which is good to use. The riding and handling of the scooter have become more mature and easy to use. Riding quality of scooter is increased with a telescopic fork up front and a 12-inch front wheel. The high mounted handlebar makes the riding position easy and comfortable. To accommodate with the same it has a longer wheelbase which maintains the stability between handling and riding. The braking is done with 120mm drum brakes at front and the rear. Talking about the suspension, new Suzuki Access 125 has coil spring, telescopic, oil damped forks placed at the front and oil damped absorbers and swing arm with coil spring at the rear side. some of the attractions are:

The company provides the coverage to replace the manufacturing defects within 2 years or before first 24,000 km covered, whichever is earlier. To keep the performance of the scooter firm, it is necessary to do timely check for engine oil, air cleaner, engine oil filter, valve clearance, battery, wheel bearings, brake pads and as described in the manual to take care about.

Safety

Suzuki provides a better experience with the braking duties of 120mm drum brakes at the front and rear ends. It comes with a 90/100-10 tubeless tire fitted at the front and rear ends. Verdict

Overall, the quality of the Suzuki scooter is good and it is a better replacement for an older version. As the price difference between the old and new is just Rs. 2,222 so it is better to go with the new one. The scooter is available in less than Rs. 2,000 than the Honda Activa 125 and this can be a plus point to gather customers among 125cc scooters. The Suzuki Access 125 is priced at Rs. 62,387(on road) in India.
