The Samsung st 5500 is, also known as CL80, a compact camera having a ~14 Mega pixels sensor with 7x optical zoom, 3.7” smart gesture touch screen user interface with built-in acceleration sensor, QWERT keypad, built-in address book, Bluetooth, WI-FI, and DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) support for sending and receiving images with other devices via internet. Using WI-FI one can send images to friends via email addresses.
It has 7x optical zoom lens that extends to provide a 31 to 217mm focal length, versatile enough for any thing from landscapes to portraits. The six controls from left to right are playback button, microphone two slots, an active LED, a power button to recess for easy operation, a shutter button, and a switch for zoom that takes around three seconds to travel from max wide angle to full telephoto.
