Founded in 1898, the Norton Motorcycle Company was earlier known as Norton Motors, LTD. It is a British motorcycle manufacturer from Birmingham, UK. in early stages, the company manufactured "fittings and parts for the two-wheel trade" that is later followed by motorcycle manufacturing with bought-in-engines by 1902 and introduction of a Norton-built engine in 1908. Later on, the company continued this success journey with the development of single and twin-cylinder motorcycles. As of now, the company is developing the 961cc Norton Commando that is the new range of Norton Motorcycles.
