Battery (8/10): The heavy processors and graphical unit require a good sort of backup, which the new Moto X has inherited with a jumbo battery pack. The backup lasts for long and provides commendable processing interval. The good things about the same are underwritten:

Market Value (9/10): Motorola was the first one to introduce a commendable wireless handsfree in the universe, and the glory has been carried forward by the firm to keep the brand image unblemished. With the Moto series of Smartphone, Motorola has confirmed their impact over the global barter. Comparing – Motorola Moto X and Moto X Gen 2
Motorola has always been the pioneer of the smartphone world in terms of design, performance, looks and of course the struggle. We all remember the time when the company was touching the sea bottom all over the globe, but rose again to conquer the limits. This time Motorola came back with the budget smartphones namely Moto G, Moto E and a slightly above budget Moto X. All three phones did excellent to bring the Motorola back in the hunt and now the company is back with the second generation of its top-selling phones, that is Moto G and Moto X. So, if you're looking to buy a 2nd gen Moto X and exploring what changes has been made in it, then here below is the information which might prove useful to you.
Has the design and display been improved?
Well, that's a hard question to answer! But, the Moto X Gen2 has an edge over the Moto X in terms of design and display as the former has increased display size of 5.2 inches, 424 PPI density and 1080x1920 pixel display over the 5.09 inches display, 312 PPI density and 720x1280 pixel display of the latter.
In common, both the phones have Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and AMOLED display with 16M colors.
What about processor and technology?
The processor and technology are the mandatory things to get changed and the new generation of the Moto X does that excellently. The new Moto X gen 2 gets the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with the lightning fast Quad-Core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU combined with 2 GB RAM. The OS also gets upgrade up to the latest android L.
On the other hand, the Moto X had a Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro chipset with the dual-core 1.7 GHz CPU combined with 2 GB RAM and limited upgrade of the android OS up tot he Kitkat 4.4.4.
A new camera and memory option.
The camera has been a thing which has turned market to a battlefield. Now, the Moto X gen 2 come with an improved 13 MP rear camera compromising 4128x3096 pixel configuration of the image. This camera captures the video in HDR mode with 2160 pixel @ 30 fps.
Now, talking about the first Moto X, the rear camera was 10 MP with 4320x3432 pixel image configuration. The videos get captured with 1080 pixel @ 30 fps in it. The front camera is same in both the cameras with 2 MP power.
The internal memory of the Moto X Gen 2 is available in only 16 and 32 GB variants, while the old Moto X is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB models. As earlier, the new Moto X also don't have the card slot, just like the old one.
Same old battery, but different price!
All the smartphones do have the battery issues and I guess Motorola is a bit affected by it. However, there hasn't been any significant changes in the battery as the new generation Moto X gets the 2300 mAh Li-ion power-pack and the old one had the 2200 mAh pack. And, I seriously don't think so that it would make any change to the life of your smartphone.
The price will definitely get higher of the Moto X Gen 2 then the INR 22,000 of the Moto X, as the chipset and camera has been improved, but there isn't any news about it yet.
Final Verdict
The Motorola has definitely done well in the market after emerging from the limp and I guess if you're looking to buy the Moto X for you, then you better try out the new Moto X Gen 2, but still the price holds the key to its success.
