People Thoughts: Nokia X is the first android smart phone launched by Nokia. A Dual core 1 GHz processor from Qualcomm with 512 MB of RAM is enclosed with it. The phone comes up with 4-inch WVGA screen. It supports 3MP camera and lens and a speaker outlet. LED flash light is missing here. Nokia X has a removable battery of 1500 mAh, two micro-SIM slots and a micro SD card slot are also available.
Average Ratings: Nokia X is a combination of Nokia Lumia 520 and Asha 503 in terms of design and colorful casing. Lack of LED flash light makes the camera monotonous. This new phone is a perfectly customized variant of Android 4.1.2. I, personally, will give it 4.0 out of 5.
Market Value: Nokia X is the most awaited phone in the Indian market. Its specification and features list presumed that it is quite unique phone which has two different flavors with windows phone outlook and android phone OS. It is launched with the smart price of Rs. 8599 in Indian markets. It can have a good competition with Moto G and Samsung Galaxy Core.
Value for Money: There is nothing noticeable about Nokia X’s 4-inch display. Its processor is smaller than other cheaper range smart phones that give a still feel of processing. It comes with preloaded apps like Vine, Facebook, BBM, Skype, Fruit ninja and more. The phone doesn’t give endorsement of Google Play store while it offers Nokia Store for downloading apps. But good news is that third party Android app stores can also be installed and used here.
Advance Options: The phone's interface is unique and different from other Android phones. Its UI is segmented into Fastlane and a tile-based launcher. The Fastlane stocks up notifications; open and successively use apps and customizes these as per the user's likings. The other side of the screen after swiping over the left or right adds tiles that are identical to Windows Phone log in screen. These tiles can be resized according to user’s priorities.
Verdict: The Nokia X is a rigorous phone to feel it out. But it seems to be not much better piece than the Nokia Lumia 520 which is the perfect Windows Phone and not that much expensive. There are some more shortcomings as its internal memory is only 4GB which is lesser than other same range smart phones. While Nokia desires of third party apps from other stores. The Nokia X has well build hardware, interesting new UI but as a Nokia Phone it is little costlier.
