SAGMart Reviews on Motorola Moto E3 Power
Pros:
- Comes with Android Marshmallow OS
- Value for Money
- Classy Design with touch of simplicity
Cons:
- Device only supports 1.0 GHz band
- Gyroscope sensor is absent
- Device lacks multitasking support
- Also Lack Fingerprint sensor and Water Repellant
Display and Design:
Though, the display of Moto E is not as much as best in dealing with sunlight, however not the worst either. The display feels a bit reflective when it comes to sunlight, apart from that, the colours and maximum brightness of 553 Lux are also passable in the given price. So better don’t expect incredibly deep blacks or vibrant, popping colours.
Moreover, the Lenovo owned Moto E3 Power is blessed with a fabulous design language, that makes it undoubtedly more durable and easy to use. It features a plastic shell along with a chrome rim, which makes it a bit different from its other siblings.
Performance:
Powering the device is a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Getting straight to the point, the Moto E3 Power is not as powerful as Lenovo want you to believe it, as it loses its power when it comes to load heavy applications.
Camera:
Moto E3 Power comes with a primary (rear) 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and LED flash. A 5-megapixel snapper has also been provided for selfies.
The front camera of the handset captures average pictures and can only satisfy you for any social networking post, nothing much. On the other hand, the rear camera can support 720p videos but still lacks some additional features like slow-motion & timelapse. But, we must say that focus & shutter speed is respectable. The rear camera can capture quality pictures, only when clicked in decent light.
Battery:
In terms of battery, The phone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery which is also removable by the user. The battery of the handset can keep your handset awake for nearly a day and a half in just a single charge. It also comes with a Doze mode, which automatically detects when the smartphone isn't being used and keeps the battery saving as its top-most priority. Still you have to wait a bit for charging it up, as it lacks fast charging facility.
Verdict (6.5/10):
The Moto E3 power looks alright, it has a good display, it has clean software that would be updated faster and it has a fantastic battery life. It is a must-take option for users who are looking for a mid-range smartphone with a bunch of essential features. Though the smartphone lacks some basic features like NFC or gyroscope, but it surely is a good deal for a nominal price and one must not question the usability of this handset.
