SAGMart Reviews on Motorola Moto M
Pros:
- Dual 4G LTE Support
- Premium Metallic Design Language
- Water Repellent Nano Coating
- Responsive Fingerprint Sensor
- Dolby Atmos Audio Enhancement
- Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection
- Octa-Core Processor
Cons:
- Hybrid SIM 2 Slot
- A Bit Slippery Feel in Hands
- Non-Removable Battery
- Average Photography experience
- 163 gm is a bit heavy for many users
Display & Design:
The handset is blessed with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 401 ppi of pixel density and a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is blessed with a premium metallic unibody design language. The handset also comes with a water repellent nano coating, which will protect your device from water splashes, but still you can not risk to take it underwater. A fingerprint sensor is also mounted at the rear side of the smartphone and the edges of the rear panel are a bit curve, which give the handset a compact design from back.
Performance:
The handset is powered by a Mediatek Helio P15 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with 4GB RAM. It provides a smooth experience for heavy multitasking. Still, heavy games like Asphalt 8 shows frame drop if played at high graphic settings, so users are advised to play those games at lower graphic settings. The devices offers memory variants of 32GB and 64GB, and both of the variants can expand the memory upto 128GB via microSD card.
Camera:
Moto M comes with 16-megapixel primary camera with 8-megapixel front shooter. The 16-megapixel rear camera also gets a facility of f/2.0 aperture with PDAF to improve the focus while taking the shots, but still the result is not satisfying, the photographs taken by its camera is not even close to the same segment smartphone of the company G4 Plus. The camera gives an average performance in daylight photography, and seems to be struggling heavily in night. The front camera of the handset also gives an average performance. So, we suggest to use any third party application to enhance the camera performance of the handset.
Battery:
The smartphone is backed up with a massive 3050mAh battery, which can keep the device awake all day long for an average user. And the 5V/2A rapid charging capability of the handset can charge your phone completely in just 2-2.5 hours.
Verdict (7/10):
The device is blessed with an attractive design language with great Mediatek 2.2GHz octa core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. Just the camera part of the handset is not satisfying but apart from that, it is up to the mark. So, if you are not a camera freak, you can go with the it, but if not, you may have to think again about it.
