The much awaited 2016 Ford Endeavour has been snapped at a service station in India recently. The model is scheduled to get launched by the mid of January and will carry various tweaked features inside and out that distinguish it from the outgoing version. Revealed images show the top end variant in the model lineup that is named as 3.2 L AT, without any camouflage and hence makes it convenient to observe the cosmetic elements. It will be brought to the country via CKD route, whereby the kits will be assembled at Ford's Chennai plant.
This trim captured in images is mechanically fitted with a 3.2 litre, 5-cylinder TDCI motor that can efficiently pump out maximum power of 197Bhp. There is a 6-speed automatic gearbox that handles transmission and is linked to an AWD setup with Terrain Management System. Apart from this, a less powerful variant is also available with 2.2 litre, 4-cylinder TDCI unit, developing 148Bhp of output. It is likley to be offered with a 6-speed transmission unit in either manual or automatic avatar.

On the outside and inside, there are fitments like chrome grille, projector headlights, aluminium scuff plates, infotainment system, eight way adjustable seats, parking sensors and much more. Inspite of being a muscular and rugged offering, this vehicle is quite luxurious in terms of equipments that serve the purpose of offering convenience to the occupants. Other models in the segment like Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Trailblazer and upcoming Mitsubishi Sport are going to be some major hurdles for the all new Endeavour.
