2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Revealed Fully Undisguised; Launch by Year End

Bajaj Auto, the second largest two-wheeler producer in India, is widely known for its Pulsar range. The company is now on the phase to revive this Pulsar entire series to offer something new as per the growing demand in the market. After the addition of new dual tone paint scheme of Red and Black to its track-oriented, Bajaj Pulsar 220F. Now it’s turn of the latest Pulsar 180 DTSi. last updated in 2006, since its launch in 2001, the motorcycle has witnessed major update after a long while of 10 years. Mr. Rajiv Bajaj has also fortified the information of absolute refinement of Pulsar range by an official announcement.

The most noticeable one is the fitment of a new 230mm Bybre rear disc brake inherited from the Pulsar 220F. On mechanicals, the rumors suggest, the new motorcycle will be equipped with the updated engine units of the current Pulsar 180 DTSi to comply the BS IV emission norms. Basically, the engine belts out the 17bhp and 14Nm of torque and expected to produce more after refinement.

In terms of international markets, Bajaj has the Pulsar 150NS and the Pulsar 180NS in its portfolio for its few markets. The more advanced naked sports are away from the Indian soil owing to these higher price tags. And the company is not being able to launch these motorcycles in the competitive price bucket. On rivalry end, going to be launched by the end of this year, the updated Pulsar 180 DTSi will lock horns with the Honda CB Unicorn, the Suzuki Gixxer and the TVS Apache RTR 180.
