2017 Nissan Terrano Facelift Launched in India, Price Starts at Rs 9.99 lakh

Nissan India has introduced it’s all new 2017 Terrano Facelift in the country, which will be available within the price range of Rs 9.99 lakh to 14.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-sized SUV made its debut 3 years ago in October 2013 and received just a single update during its Groove edition launch. The company also launched an automated manual transmission (AMT) variant of the model in the previous year.

The new 2017 Terrano Facelift comes with 22 new features, which include the new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and voice recognition, electrically operable ORVMs, hill climb assist and cruise control. The interior is blessed with a new black and brown dual-tone colour scheme along with new fabrics or leather upholstery. The steering of the SUV has also been redesigned, and now comes with telephony and audio controls. The company also provided an armrest for the driver along with illuminated power window buttons and indicators integrated into the wing mirrors.

Coming next to the exterior part, the new Terrano features a new paint shade by the name of Sandstone Brown and new LED DRLs. It also gets anti-lock brakes (ABS) and dual airbags as standard fitment across all variants.

The mid-sized SUV is powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 103 bhp and 145 Nm of peak torque, with the help of 5-speed manual transmission unit. A 1.5-litre diesel engine variant is also provided by the company, which again comes in two states of tunes. The powerful one of them belts out a maximum power of 108 bhp along with 243 Nm of peak torque, while the less powerful one develops a maximum power of 84 bhp and 200Nm of peak torque.
