2017 Nissan X-Trail Facelift Rendered Via American TV Commercial

At the latest, Nissan in collaboration with ESPN has shooted a TV commercial of the 2017 Nissan X-Trail facelift for the American market. This mid-life updated version of the X-Trail is also known as Nissan Rogue in the US auto segment. Besides being Introduced in any auto event or any special show, Nissan rendered this updated SUV via a TV advertisement. Reportedly, it will launch in the US by the end of this year and Indian launch is presumed to happen by the end of 2017.

Earlier this year, Nissan India has previewed the pre-facelift version of the X-Trail at the Delhi Auto Expo. Though, anticipations are the 2017 X-Trail facelift will be rolled out in place of pre-facelift trim. Unveiled through a TV Ad video, this next-gen vehicle has only been modified cosmetically. While mechanically, it remains unchanged.

Aesthetically, the reworked 2017 Nissan X-Trail is sharing the components from the available crossover in the US, Nissan Murano. Carried forward bits include new V-motion grille with heavy chrome work and refreshed boomerang shaped DRLs. Apart from this, it also gets an updated bumper having a smaller central air dam, which is adorned with new horizontal LED fog lamps and chrome accent as the cherry on the cake.

Nissan X-Trail Hybrid

Under the hood, the 2017 X-Trail will be propelled by the same 2.5-litre four cylinder diesel engine in the American market. While the India bound hybrid version of the X-Trail will make its entry in the states with the facelift. If considers the Indian market, Nissan India will only launch the hybrid version which will power the machine by a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine integrated with an electric motor. The hybrid powertrain is linked to a CVT transmission to dispatch power to all the four wheels of the SUV.
