Porsche, the well-known German automobile manufacturer is all set to unveil its all-new 2017 Panamera in India. For having a powerful start, the company is going to introduce the Panamera Turbo first in the country. The new arrival by the company will be powered by a new, lighter and more compact twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, which churns out 770 Nm of torque and 550 PS of power.
The new engine will be seen coupled with a new eight-speed PDK automatic gearbox along with standard all-wheel drive system. The new member of the family can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.8 sec of time, and if you are way too impatient, then you can also go with the Sport Chrono package to slice down the time to just 3.6 seconds.
Along with this fabulous performance, the Panamera Turbo is also blessed with some high-tech features like LED headlamps, Porsche’s Dynamic Light System (PDLS) with dynamic range adjustment, dynamic cornering lights and speed-sensitive headlight range control. Additional features of the car include a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control with a touch screen display for the rear occupants and sound systems by Bose or Burmester.
According to the official site, the upcoming German beauty will be introduced with a price tag of Rs. 1.96 crore approximately. The website also lists the pricing of the Panamera Turbo Executive and Panamera Sport Turismo, which also costs nearly INR 2 crores.
The car is expected to come in three variants. All of the three variants of the model features same engines, but differ in their performances. It is still hard to convey that which one of the model will be available at the launch, but the more popular diesel, as well as hybrid iterations are yet to be launched later this year.
