2018 Ford Mustang GT Facelift to be Launched in India Early Next Year!

Ford has recently unveiled the facelift version of its Grand Touring sports car, Mustang GT globally. And now, if some reports are to be believed, the American automaker is likely to bring this 2018 Mustang GT facelift in India in early next year. This is a mid-cycle update that includes a bunch of cosmetic and mechanical tweaks and will go on sale as a 2018 model year.

The exterior changes to the new Mustang include revised front and rear styling for better aerodynamic qualities of the car, Ford says. Besides three new exterior shades, the sports beast features new eyes, the all new LED headlamp cluster.
As you step inside, you will see a new digital dashboard instead of the regular round dials from the outgoing model. These same functions, however, have also been introduced earlier on the GT Supercar, with the similar kind of customization tweaks on the Mustang.

Technology-wise 2018 Ford Mustang GT is now blessed with pre-collision systems and pedestrian sensors. The car is also smart enough to store the preferred driving settings in its computer system memory that can also save the steering and suspension tweaks.

We expect the same updates to be featured on the India-bound 2018 Ford Mustang.
Mechanically, the India-spec 2018 Ford Mustang Facelift will continue to be powered by the same 5.0-litre V8 engine from the outgoing model. Though, the transmission duties are likely to be handled by the new 10-speed automatic gearbox instead of the 6-speed from the current generation.
