Although the car was late to enter into the SUV segment in the country, still it has accumulated much of customers. The attractive looks and competitive price made it to the list of the top 10 selling SUVs list in India as well.
The monthly sale of Tata Nexon in the country is more than 4,000 units. With the new year initiation, the company plans to increase the selling number a bit more. The new dual color tone is added to the top XZ+ trim which was not visible before. The new revelation takes the white body paint with black cladding and silver roof, as shown in the image. The new color scheme is added to the official brochure of the car as well.
Tata Nexon compact SUV entered the market on 20th July last year in the sub 4-meter SUV segment and reached 10,000 units sales by the November month only. The last 10,000th Nexon model was manufactured at the Tata-Fiat plant in Ranjangaon near Pune.

The new SUV features similarity with the Ford EcoSport and new Maruti Suzuki Ignis. It is put under the price range between Rs 5.95 lakhs to Rs 9.56 lakhs(ex-showroom, India).
New Tata Nexon is manufactured on the same Tata Motors’ IMPACT design philosophy like the Tigor and Tiago. It has a 2+3 seating arrangement and is available in both petrol and diesel engine choices.
Engines available on offer are a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine. The 1.5 litre 4 cyl diesel engine will generate a maximum power of 110 PS at 3750 rpm and a peak torque of 260 Nm at 1500-2750 rpm while a 1.2 liter 3 cyl petrol engine will produce a maximum power of 110 PS at 3750 rpm and a peak torque of 260 Nm at 1500-2750 rpm. Both engines come mated a 6-speed manual transmission and AMT variant is expected to launch by end of this year.
New Tata Nexon is designed specifically for India. Outside attraction duty on the SUV is done by a new bumper design, circular headlamps, a mesh grille, customization options for body kit and color combination for body and roof.
The Nexon also features a range of comfort and connectivity characteristics like the new Tiago onboard features. This SUV takes a Harman Kardon music system and the standalone touchscreen infotainment system inspired by Tata Connect Next platform.
