2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado goes on sale in India at Rs 92.6 lakh

The all-new 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will make its debut on the Indian Roads with a price tag of INR 92.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new offering from the Toyota Factory was launched at Auto Expo 2018 in February.

The second facelift adorns the beast with new (full-LED projector) headlamps, radiator grille, and hood. It also gets a new set of alloys and tail lights. Overall, the exterior is bulkier and adds up to the aggressive aura. The muscle car comes in three color variants: Vintage Brown Pearl, Avant-Garde Bronze, and Blackish Ageha.

The My2018 update it seems has added new feathers to luxury and plush of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Some features that stand out on their own include the new 4-spoke steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, new design combi-meter and center console. In addition to the already existent all black interior, buyers can now have two more options to choose from for the interior- Neutral Beige and Redwood. For making parking easier and safer, it is now equipped with panoramic view monitor.

Under the hood, the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is powered by the 3.0-litre D-4D turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. It can churn out 173 PS at 3,400 rpm and 410 Nm of torque from 1,600-2,800 rpm. It also boasts of a standard 4WD system and an adaptive variable suspension that enables the driver to choose from three drive modes – Comfort, Normal and Sport.
