2018 Toyota Rush that was revealed inside out a few days ago via leaked brochure images, has officially been unveiled globally by the carmaker. Earlier, the details regarding exteriors and interior were exposed and now for the first time and finally, the mechanical details of the SUV are out.
At the skin, an Innova-like large grille with four chrome slats, LED headlights and LED DRLs, those look-alike seen on the India-spec Honda CR-V. in addition to that, a bulky front bumper along with the contrasting rectangular slots for round fog lamps are manifesting the fascia of the 2018 Toyota Rush. The SUV has an excellent ground clearance of 220mm that counts in one of the key aspects of the segment.
The attributes which are add-ons on the top end TRD Sportivo variant include 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels, badges, and side-body moulding. Inside the cabin, the SUV comes featured with dual-tone theme besides the TRD Sportive obtains advanced features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (which doubles as a reversing camera) that comes with USB compatibility, radio, CD player and smartphone compatibility via Miracast and Weblink, keyless entry and push-button start.

Beneath the front end, this new age SUV is loaded with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating 105 hp and 140 Nm of peak torque. Power transmission to the rear wheels will be handled by the five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic transmission
If the occupant’s safety is considered, the 2018 Toyota Rush comes loaded with the equipment such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control and hill start assist.
