The premium variant of the new Honda Civic will be having a smart entry, dual-zone auto climate control, 8-way adjustable driver seat, electronic parking brake and a multi-angle rearview camera.

In India, Honda is offering Civic in a 1.8-litre petrol engine that delivers 141hp of power and 174 nm of torque. However, the petrol engine is available only with a CVT gearbox. A 1.6-litre diesel engine churns out a 120hp of power and 300Nm of peak torque but the Civic diesel engine option is available only in a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Civic petrol delivers a 16.5 kmpl of mileage while the diesel Civic is pegged at 26.8 kmpl of mileage.
The 2019 Honda Civic is likely to be available between Rs 18 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. At this price, the sedan will face stiff competition with rivals like Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla Altis and Hyundai Elantra.
