The new Yamaha FZ-FI series is all set to boom in the market with its new features. The bikes have been launched at an event which was held on 30th June, 2014 in New Delhi by Yamaha. The new series was named as FZ-FI Version 2.0. It is expected that the company will start commencing both the bikes soon, or might be from the coming month. Well, the difference between the older Yamaha FZ Series and Version 2.0 can be seen by having a glimpse on both the bikes. Now, here's the brief detail of the modifications done in the FZ-FI series.
1. Starting from the front: The version 2.0 is featuring a new fangled and sharp headlamps. The tank size of new FZ-FI has also been increased along with a sticker of the Yamaha logo over the fuel tank. The bike is considered to give a pure street macho look. The number plate is also introduced on the visor above the headlamps on the bike.
2. An economic ride: The FZ-FI series gets a fuel injected technology. Apart from that, the bike is provided by a new digital meter with an ECO button beside it. This will help you to provide a fuel economic ride.
3. Now, here comes the engine: The version 2.0 is blessed with a new engine along with the Fuel-Injection technology, which will be 14% more fuel efficient. The series is powered by an air-cooled, 4-stroke engine, but with a less engine displacement of 149cc. The engine generates less power of 13.1BHP and a torque of 12.8nm.
4. A new seating experience: The FZ-FI series has been redesigned by the company. Now, they introduced a split seating arrangement on both the bikes. The seat becomes more attractive with the split grad rails alongside.
5. New rear view: The rear view of the bike gets more attracted and noticeable changes. A new tyre hugger has been introduced by the company and re-modeled tail lamps give this series a total new look. A new redesigned tail pipe covered with a stylish muffler adds a stylish macho look to this bike.
