750cc Honda Adventure Scooter Patent Images Emerged Online; Launch Soon

Since its showcase at the 2015 EICMA show in Milan, we have been hearing about the Honda’s ludicrous City Adventure Concept bike. About a month ago, the Japanese two-wheeler maker- Honda has teased everyone with the surfaced video of the City Adventure Scooter on its official Europe YouTube Website. However, the video was displaying a vague picture of the tourer riding on city streets and dirt roads. It clearly conveys the automaker did not want to disclose the detailing of the scooter. But now, the leaked patent images of the upcoming 750cc adventure scooter has been surfaced online.

Till now, there is no words about the launch of the scooter. But Honda has confirmed the cross between a big scooter and an adventure bike, will launch soon and the more information about the adventure tourer will be provided on coming August 30.

These Honda’s design patent images reveals the restyled production version of the scooter as compare to the last set of leaked images. The noticeable changes include the equipment of smaller exhaust, larger handguards and the revamped windscreen on the scooter than the concept design. On higher spec components the scooter will be featured with the elements like radical brake calipers.

Mechanically, the scooter gets a 750cc parallel twin 54bhp motor from the NC750, which is mated to a DCT semi-auto transmission gearbox. Overall the engine is adequate to provide excellent performance and fuel economy.

Moreover, the Honda has filed trademarks for ‘X-ADV’ and ‘Honda X-ADV’ in February month this year, which were accepted and granted in June same year. The speculations are, entitled with the concept name of the City Adventure, the scooter might use these patent names as bike’s final name.
