New Volvo XC60 Spied Testing: Might Debut in 2017

The next generation SUV Volvo XC60 has been caught testing recently. The test mule was heavily camouflaged and could be hit the global market sometime in 2017. The more details about the upcoming SUV yet-to-be-revealed from the Swedish luxury car maker, though this next gen SUV will be based on company’s new design ideology.

The luxury SUV maker, Volvo made a buzz in the international market with its styling model XC90, as the design was appreciated globally and the same ideology is been used in all the models like S90, V90, V40 facelift and now XC60. At the front, the hammer shaped DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and the large vertical-slat chrome grille are the notable changes.

About its powertrain, as nothing goes officially by the company, we are not certain about its underhood specs. However, the new SUV XC60 would follow the current Volvo trand and might offer 4-cylinder petrol and diesel options, along with some performance based hybrid variants.

More about the XC60 will be known once it made its global debut later next year. As far as concern of India launch, there is a very slim chance before 2018.
