After Toyota and Nissan, Honda too Recalls Vehicles with Takata Airbags

Japan's 3 major automaker companies Toyota, Nissan and Honda has set the records of mass recall of vehicles in the world because of the faulty airbags from a single supplier Takata Corporation. Toyota and Nissan are calling 6.5 million vehicles while the Honda is accounted to 5 million cars. Also, it is not the first time that cars have been recalled with defective airbags manufactured by the same supplier Takata Corporation. The numbers suggest that 17 million cars have been recalled since the year 2008 and a minimum of 100 injuries have been reported because of these airbags.

Talking about the numbers, Toyota will be recalling 5 million cars that include names like Corolla, Yaris and others. According to the company 637,000 cars are out in the USA, while over 1.3 million are in Japan and over 1.25 million in Europe. On the other hand, Nissan has been accounted for nearly 1.56 million cars out of which 326,000 are in North America, while the rest are in Asia and Europe. Honda, however, haven't disclosed the details about the market from where it'll recalling vehicles back.

The issue with airbags is that these fault airbags inflates in pressure conditions and shoot metal shrapnel which causes injuries to the passengers. The Takata Corporation has not only affected these three car -makers, but the likes of BMW, Mazda and General Motors as well. Now, let us see what actions these car manufacturers take after such a mess.
