Lately, the UK based iconic two-wheeler manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles has released a teaser image of an all new Bonneville Bobber on its social media channels, quoted ‘Brutal Beauty Coming Soon’.
Actually, the "Brutal Beauty" was the campaign words for the promotion of this, one of the most beautiful motorcycles created globally, at its official début late last year.
Reportedly, Triumph Motorcycles India is all geared to launch this 2017 Bonneville Bobber offering anytime soon in the country.
Aesthetically, it is a stripped down epitome of the Bonneville T120, and is featured with components such as a round headlight, wide flat bars, sculpted fuel tank, adjustable single seat, and wire spoke wheels with wider rear tyre. These included components add an extra to this perfect, muscular, and quite low Bobber than others.
If talks about the powertrain, the popular Bonneville T120 series' 1200cc parallel-twin high torque engine performs propelling duties. The bolted mill is tuned to develop more torque and less power than the T120. Besides, the brand has adopted different suspension setup to match the single seat nature of the bike. The stopping of the new Bobber will be depend on single discs at both the front and the rear wheels, which have an integration of top end ABS system as a standard fitting.
There are a host of electronic equipments on the bike to support a comfortable yet dynamic ride. That includes ride-by-wire system, which ensures better throttle response and improved travel distance. Moreover, a switchable traction control and ride modes are also added in the bike to support safe riding.
As expected, the Bobber will be inserted above the standard Bonneville T120 in the Indian lineup and will be priced more or less one lakh costlier than the T120, at around Rs. 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
