All TVS Two-Wheeler Models Updated with BS- IV Compliant Engine

The leading two wheeler manufacturer TVS has recently introduced BS- IV compliance all range of of two- wheeler models in India. TVS Wego and TVS Jupiter had already launched in the month of February 2017 and March 2017 respectively. TVS had updated its all range of models in BS- IV compliant engine commuters such as TVS Victor, StarCity+, Sport and scooters such as TVS Zest 110 and Scooty Pep Plus and sporty bikes such as Apache RTR 180, and Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 200 4V.

From the safety point of view, two -wheeler models of TVS have been equipped with an Automatic Headlamp on (AHO) functions along with BS- IV engine. It is also blessed with daytime running light (DRL) as either standard or as an option in some of the models of TVS. Zest 110, Scooty Pep Plus, and the entire Apache range has been blessed with DRLs as standard whereas the TVS Victor gets LED DRLs only on the disc brake variant.

From the engine side, all models of TVS has been paired with BS- IV compliant engine whereas torque and power remain unchanged.

At the time of introducing BS-IV compliant model range, TVS company said that now we are available with the latest emission norms in India, users or customers who are looking to purchase vehicles which are smog free and helps to make the world or city clean. The two wheeler manufacturer TVS said that, it has always supported this change. All the current models or products of TVS has been equipped with BS IV compliant engine and follow the emission guidelines.

Last month supreme court put ban on the sale of BS-III compliant engine in India from 1st April 2017. So the two wheeler manufacturers have no choice other than update their all range of models to BS-IV compliant vehicles. Competitors like Honda Motorcycle and Bajaj Auto have already update their products or models in BS-IV compliance engine and now the TVS has done the same.
