In the market, the new scooter will be pronounced as Aprilia SR 150 Race and be priced around INR 8000 more than the standard variant.
Launched at a really affordable price of INR 68,806 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SR 150 had received a good customer response that helped the bike maker to earn a good revenue. In order to continue this journey, the company has now come up with something that is more aggressive in styling, performance, and dynamics than the previous one, and meant for those who always want something new and different.
Unfortunately, the SR 150 Race has been revealed ahead of its scheduled launch, through a look like presentation page, from the motoring portal- autosarena.com. The new Aprilia SR 150 Race is more stylish, aggressive and captivating in terms of looks. As the scooter features a new race graphics on a new Maze Grey paint job, and a red color painted rear wheel and damper, that offer a head turner appeal to this racing sports crossover. Besides, it is also embellished with a digital- analog instrument console, a slotted front disc rotor which is integrated with a gold painted brake caliper to provide precise braking.
If turns focus on the mechanical fitments, the same old 154.4cc single cylinder air-cooled engine borrowed from the SR 150 has been electronically adjusted to churn out 11.55PS at 7,000rpm and 11.5Nm at 5,500rpm. The motor is coupled to a CVT transmission.
