Aston Martin DB11 Launched in India; Priced at INR 4.2 Crores

British luxury carmaker Aston Martin has launched its brand new flagship model, the DB11 in India at the price of INR 4.2 Crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The highly anticipated model has made its world premiere at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. As a successor of the DB9, the DB11 has been designed under the company’s “Second Century” Plan, that was basically aimed to enlarge the company’s reach in various international markets by refreshing the current portfolio as well as launching new products.

In order to propel the car, an exclusive 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine has been added under the hood of the car instead of a 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 motor as of the DB9. The new trim is tuned to bear down all the rivals with a huge power of 608 PS at 6,500 rpm along with a massive torque of 700 Nm at 1500 rpm. Such powertrains enable the unit to hit 100 kmph from standstill in just 3.9 seconds as well as to reach the top speed of 322 kmph or 200 mph. Further, the power will be sent to the rear wheels through an advanced 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Up front, the all-new supercar has shared many design cues from its predecessors like the signature front catfish grille on the drop-down nose, a long bonnet with elegant character lines, and projector headlights with daytime running lights. Besides, the low-sloping rooflines end with the slim-cut LED tail lamps. Moreover, the rear end of the car comes with the regular twin-quad exhaust pipes to enhance the grace of the model. Moreover, it runs on 20-inch alloy wheels.

Step inside the cabin and you will be welcomed by a classic grand tourer interior cues for which the Aston Martin is known for. Further, with the presence of premium quality leather upholstery, wooden inserts and brushed aluminium trim, the appeal of the cabin has become more graceful. In addition, it has got an instrument cluster with a 12-inch TFT LCD, a centrally mounted infotainment system along with 8-inch touchscreen display, auto park assist, Bang & Olufsen music system and 360-degree bird's eye camera.
