The pricing of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz that is available in four trims starts from Rs. 9.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Sigma trim and goes up to Rs 11.44 lakh for the fully-loaded Alpha trim.

One of the heartthrob sedans in the segment, the Honda City from the Japanese car manufacturer is priced at an introductory price of Rs 8.58 for the base variant petrol-manual City (119hp, 1.5-litre petrol, five-speed gearbox) that is available in four trims. The highest paying model in this variant costs Rs 11.70 lakhs. The price of the other variants like the petrol-automatic City (119hp, 1.5-litre petrol, CVT) and diesel-manual City (100hp, 1.5-litre diesel, six-speed gearbox) are respectively Rs 11.59-13.56 lakh and Rs 10.83-13.63 lakh.
Skoda dealers are selling the Rapid sedan with variable discounts on different trims. The petro-powered Rapid (105hp, 1.6-litre, with the five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission) and one with the oil burner (110hp, 1.5-litre, with five-speed manual or seven-speed automatic) variants are being offered with savings approx. Rs 1.5 lakh.
Base Active trim cars (only available on the manuals) are Rs 1.25 lakh less expensive than the price sticker. The mid-spec Ambition trim Rapids are being retailed with Rs 1.42 lakh off and top-spec Style trim Rapids are now more affordable with reduction of Rs 1.39 lakh in the listed price. In addition to that the above-mentioned discounts on said trims, an additional 'corporate discount'of Rs 10,000 will result in huge money savings.
The Skoda Rapid petrol-manual price lies between Rs 8.48 and 10.82 lakh. While, the other variants such as the petrol-automatic Rapid, the diesel-manual Rapid and the diesel-automatic versions are tagged with the respective price tags Rs 10.76- 12.09 lakh, Rs 11.87-13.47 lakh and Rs 9.71- 12.34 lakh.
A substantial chunk off the listed price is also being provided by the German carmaker on its VW Vento model.
