Audi and Fiat Mulling Over Q Name

World's two best car manufacturer companies Audi and Fiat are in a name-calling war over the 'Q' alphabet as both the companies desperately want to use this name. However, the Fiat is currently not using the name and on the other hand, Audi is trying to expand its portfolio in the SUV segment, which uses the names as Q3, Q7 and others as well. Now, Audi wants to register all names from Q1 to Q7, but two names from the series that is Q2 and Q4 are under the Fiat's arena. Now, both the companies are making their best efforts to retain their legacy, but Fiat seems to have an advantage over here.

Sharing details, Fiat's Alfa Romeo division used the Q2 and Q4 names for their vehicles since 2005-11, specifically on its 159 sedan. The Q2 was used for the electronic limited-slip differential and the Q4 was used for the all-wheel drive system. Although, as we told you that the company doesn't use them anymore.

On its name holding policy, the Fiat officials said that by keeping these names to itself, they'll have an upper advantage over the Volkswagen, which is growing like anything in the market. While the Audi is trying its very best to somehow get those names for its SUV lineup.
