The German car maker Audi has been quite impressive in the sales department last year with nearly 1.74 Million units sold. Audi also gave best-ever performance in the Indian market as well with over 10,000 units sold in 2014. Now, the year has just been near to its half only and the company has already generated nearly 600,000 sales volume across the globe. Well, the numbers are really encouraging for the company and it is now planning to expand its fleet in the Indian market as well.
Talking about the plans of Audi for India, then its Q-series SUV Q7 and A4 sedan are going to be launched in the market by second half of 2015. The company is also has plans to launch nearly 60 models in India by the year 2020. And, most of the upcoming Audi cars in India would be SUVs.
Even the company has officially stated that it will add more members to the Q family and the expansion will include Q1, Q8 and a sporty SUV which could be Q6 with electric drive system. Well, the luxury SUV market has grown rapidly in India in recent times and Audi seems to take over all with its new launch plans.
