The German automaker Audi has confirmed that it'll be launching the next generation R8 super car at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. The images of the car are already available on the internet and this model will replace the current model in every market. Talking about the changes, then this car has many cosmetic changes, but only a few mechanical ones. The major reformation on the exteriors are new front grille, removal of side blades, sharper lines and design similar to that of new generation Audi TT. However, there hasn't been much information revealed about the interiors of the car, hence we must wait for the car launch.
Under the bonnet, there are possibilities that the car might get powered by the same 5.2 Litre V-10 petrol engine as same as Lamborghini Huracan. Although, it might get revised for slightly less power and a 4.2 Litre V8 engine may also get available as an extra option. The Plug-in hybrid version of this next generation Audi R8 is also in the rumors for the Geneva Launch.
Well, the plans are good, the car is awesome, all we need to check is the performance and for that we have to wait till commencing of the show. The car is also available for sale in India and Audi will definitely launch this car in the largest ever-growing market for sure.
