Auto Expo 2016: Triumph Launches New Bonneville Series

Triumph, the British motorcycle maker exhibits its new Bonneville range- Triumph Street Twin, Bonneville T120, Thruxton and Thruxton R, at the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo and launches two from the Bonneville series and other two will also be launched today after sometime. The new Triumph Street Twin has been launched at Rs 6.9 lakh and The new Bonneville T 120 at the price of Rs. 8.7 lakh, both the launched motorcycles priced at ex-showroom, Delhi.

According to Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles, India, “ The new range of the iconic Bonneville is exactly what our customers have asked for and what the next generation of Bonneville should be – more beautiful, more powerful and more capable. Triumph India expects the new line-up to be huge for the Indian market.”

New Triumph Street Twin

The new Street Twin is powered by the all new 900cc, 8-valve, parallel twin engine that easily delivers 80 Nm of massive torque at 3200 rpm. The engine is corporated with the five-speed gear- box. While other offering new Bonneville T120 gets power from the all new 1200cc, 8-valve, parallel twin engine to churns the peak torque of 105 Nm at 3100 rpm and the engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.

if centred attention at the further launching new Thruxton and Thruxton R, both the cafe racers powered by a 1200cc, 8-valve, parallel twin engine that the peak torque of 112 Nm at 4950 rpm. The motor is coupled to a six-speed transmission.

Moreover, all the new Bonneville series is equipped with features like ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and traction control as standard.
