Bajaj Auto All Set to Launch New Avenger Variant by March 2018

Bajaj Auto, is all geared to add a new variant in Indian lineup for its cruiser range of bikes, Avenger. The new trim is likely to join their siblings by March 2018. Other than this, the Pune based bike maker has already launched the Pulsar NS 160, updated CT 100 and the Platina ComforTec. And, the now brand is eyeing to introduce all-new variants for the cruiser Avenger and the cafe racer V models.

Beside, expected launch of the Avenger and the V variants, there is not much information about the forthcomings. But the sources revealed, the new Bajaj V variant will be placed between the CT100 and the V15. Also, it will support bike maker in improving the sales of these trims.

In the Indian biking industry, Bajaj has a market share of 17 percent and with these new variants the manufacturer is eyeing on 23 percent overall market share by March 2018. In the first half of this financial year, dispatched units of the Avenger and V were registered 55,021 and 71,365 units respectively.

The Avenger model has three variants in the lineup depending upon engine displacement.
It has 150cc Street and 220cc Street and Cruise trims. The 150cc Street uses the churned power of 14.5hp along with 12.5Nm torque. While, the 220cc Street and Cruise trims propel with the support of generated 19.03hp and 17.5 Nm torque figure. All the trims were in integration with a five speed manual gearbox.
