Bajaj Platina Comfortec with LED DRLs Introduced at INR 46,656

Bajaj Auto has brought something unusual for a wide range of Indian audience, a commuter with LED DRLs. Yes that’s true, the chennai based motorcycle maker has launched one of the most preferred bikes for daily commute, the Platina Comfortec with LED DRLs. It is the first bike with DRLs in the 100-150cc segment and tagged with the price tag of INR 46,656.

As the company claims, the LED DRLs consumes less bike’s power around 88% less power than the bikes with AHO (automatic headlamp on). Altogether, it allows the bike to deliver improved fuel efficiency that will help the motorcycle to stay with the tag ‘world mileage champion’. The ARAI claimed mileage for the bike is 104kmpl.

ComforTec in the bike moniker defines the provided suspension setup including 28% longer travel front suspension and 22% longer rear suspension which absorbs 20% more damps rather than other 100cc motorcycles. Other features on the ComforTec consists of a ‘spring-soft’
Soft cushion seat, rubber footpads and directional tyres for stability and comfortable ride.

Under the fuel tank, the new Platina ComforTec is blessed with 100cc Bajaj DTSi engine. Mated to a four speed gearbox, the mill generates 7.9PS power at 7500rpm and 8.34Nm of peak torque at 5500rpm.

In the market, the new Bajaj Platina ComforTec is available to purchase in two colour options of ebony black with silver decals and cocktail wine with red decals.
