Bajaj Pulsar 150AS Might be the Next, Spotted Camouflaged

The promise made by the Bajaj Auto Ltd. at the beginning of the year, 2015 is seems to be on its way of completion. Starting from the January, 2015, the firm has updated its portfolio with the introduction of three new motorcycles in the country. The three lately introduced motorcycles are Bajaj Platina 100 ES in January, a comeback made by the Bajaj CT100 in the month of February and the most awaited sports motorcycle, Pulsar RS200, which was just now launched on 26th March, 2015. Now, it seems that a 150cc displaced Pulsar will be next in the row.

Concluding from the previous spyshots, the company is working over two adventure motorcycles, probably named as Pulsar 200AS and Pulsar 150AS. Recently, a camouflaged Pulsar AS was being spotted while it was testing near Lonavala, Pune. By having a close look at the spied and camouflaged motorcycle, it clearly gives indication of fetching power from a smaller capacity engine. This links this motorcycle directly to the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 150AS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150AS might be sharing its powertrain from the existing Pulsar 150. The upcoming 150AS will be powered by a new-generation four-stroke, single-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 150cc. The liquid-cooled engine would be mated to a 5-speed transmission. The fuel-injection system and ABS are expected to be not on the charts for the upcoming motorcycle. Being a 150cc displaced motorcycle, it wouldn't be receiving the ABS, even as an option. Alike, the lately introduced Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the 150AS is also expected to deliver an increased amount of power and torque.

The front-quarter fairing incorporated with a muscular tank and likely to receive projector headlamps. The stopping power has been guarded by a petal type front disc brake and drum brake at the rear. According to the reports, the Bajaj Pulsar 150AS is just few weeks away from its official launching. Stay tuned with SAGMart to know more about the launching event of the upcoming motorcycle.
