Bajaj Pulsar CS400 India Launch on February 1

The Pune-based automaker, Bajaj, have been making a noise for quite some time that it is readying a new product in India, which is to be unveiled on February 1. Though, the domestic manufacturer has kept on hiding, which motorcycle will strike the country's commercial two-wheeler market. According to the latest internet buzz, Bajaj is probably gearing up for the highly-awaited CS400 to be rolled out into the automobile segment on the 1st of Feb.

The company is still tight-lipped about the launch details, but Zigwheels informed that there are bright chances that the upcoming roadster is CS400. During the previous year, Bajaj Auto's Managing Director, Rajiv Bajaj, gave us a hint about its offering of Pulsar 400 models in the next fiscal year, i.e., in the year 2016. If the reports are believed to be true, then the automaker will come up with a new commuter motorcycle under an innovative brand name.

Interestingly, Pulsar CS400 is the Bajaj's first offering as a power cruiser, which is anticipated to have Powertrain of a 375cc liquid-cooled, 4-valve, triple-spark engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Pricing of the bike in India is in between Rs. 1.7 lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). On an impressive note, this will also be the first motorcycle to feature a 375cc engine by the company. Apart from this, CS400 has been manufactured on the same platform as the KTM 390 Duke, so one can expect disc brakes on either side along with an offering of ABS.
