Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Hits Production Line, Accompanied by Pulsar AS 200

The wait is getting over each passing day and the excitement of having the fastest sports motorcycle is increasing, simultaneously. The Bajaj Auto Ltd. has already announced the launching date of the most awaited Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. The company claims that it is the fastest Pulsar introduced yet. After being in rumors for so long, the firm has released an official teaser of the approaching motorcycle just a few days back. The teaser is simply mocking up the Pulsar fanatics with its sharp features, racing style and fast speed. The upcoming motorcycle has already entered the production assembly and will soon be hitting the Bajaj showrooms anytime. The official launching is scheduled for 26th March, 2015.

The manufacturer has started producing the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 at the Chakan manufacturing facility located near Pune. Along with the fastest Pulsar, the mid-sibling of the 200cc motorcycles is also in the row of production. Based on the firm's flagship, i.e. Pulsar 200 NS, the RS 200 is a fully-faired sports motorcycle, whereas the Pulsar AS 200 is featuring a semi-body fairing. Both the upcoming Racing Sports and Adventure Sports motorcycles are sharing their complete technical specifications with the segment ruler, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 Naked Sports.

We all know the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 mechanically so just for a recap, it is powered by a single-cylinder mill carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The liquid-cooled motor is incorporated with triple-spark and is tuned to generate a maximum power of 24.2 BHP @ 9500 revs and a peak torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 revs. The 199.5 cc displaced engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and believing the sources, the top-end variant would be receiving Fuel-Injection system as well.

The company will offer several paint scheme options for the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, such as Blue, Red and Yellow individually combined with Black. In order to meet the high demand, the company is readying itself carrying a possible stock of 25,000-30,000 units. The company has already commenced bookings for the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 with an initial booking amount of Rs 5000.
