Bajaj V12 to be Available With Disc Brakes

Bajaj, the well-known two wheeler manufacturing firm, has decided to offer its V12 with the disc brakes facility. The semi-cruiser bike is currently available only with drum brakes, there is no option of disc brakes currently. Without giving any specific date or a time period, the company has announced that the people will soon watch the bike running on Indian streets with disc brakes.

According to the company, the current market of the bike doesn’t demand any disc-brake variant, but a new variant coupled with that facility will soon be added to the lineup. The Bajaj V12 is blessed with the same design language and edges as its upper version V15. The only thing that makes it different from Bajaj V15 is its engine specifications.

The Bajaj V12 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a maximum power of 10.5bhp at 7500rpm along with a peak torque of 11 NM at 5500 rpm. The power of the bike is transmitted to the rear wheel with the help of a five-speed transmission unit.

The bike is already more powerful and a better option than most of its competitors, and is performing quite well in this overcrowded segment. The company is expected to unveil the new variant with disc brakes in the starting of the upcoming festive season along with a premium of Rs 1500.
