BMW 6 Series Facelift Launched in India

Today, BMW has set up its 6 Series Gran Coupe (6 Series facelift)  in India in two variants, Eminence and the Design Pure Experience. Both of these versions have been priced at INR 1.149 Crore and 1.219 Crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi), respectively. Design wise, it has been adorned with a radiator grille, new LED fog lamps, redesigned front/ rear bumpers, LED multibeam lights, air inlets surrounds, shadow line, dark chrome exhaust pipe and 19 inch alloy wheels. All of these aesthetic parts look beautiful at charming color options, such as Melbourne Red, Mineral White, Space Grey, Mediterranean Blue, Alpine White, Glacier Silver and Black Sapphire.

However, this updated Coupe remains same inside the cabin apart from the reformed material quality, new Head up display (HUD), dual tone leather upholstery, Fineline Brown and Fine-wood trim poplar. In India, the 6 Series Gran Coupe is available in 640d guise along with a 3.0 litre in line six cylinder diesel engine to produce a superb power of 313 hp at 4,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 630 Nm between 1,500 rpm to 2,500 rpm. This mill has been mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for sending power to its rear wheels.

Ahead of achieving an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, the BMW 6 Series facelift can be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. This updated model has been brought via CBU route into the Indian market and is ready for taking the likes of the Audi A7 and Mercedes CLS Class.
