BMW F750 GS and F850 GS Reported to Launch in India at Auto Expo 2018

As per the latest surfaced reports, all-new middleweight adventure tourer motorcycles from the BMW Motorrad, the BMW F750 GS and the BMW F850 GS is scheduled to launch at the forthcoming Auto Expo next year. Going to be the most affordable motorcycles in the BMW Motorrad’s Indian product lineup, the motorcycles will mark their presence on the Indian soil all the way through the CBU route. In the segment, they will combat with the available range of new Triumph Tiger 800 and will price around INR 11 lakh-12 lakh for the BMW F 750 GS and INR 12 lakh-13 lakh for the BMW F850 GS.

In terms of design language, both the bikes the new F 750 GS and F 850 GS are targeted to serve their respective clientele. The F 750 GS is meant for those who wants the feel and conceptual design of a travel enduro with a blend of a low seat height, abundant power, powerful all-round qualities and value for money. While, the new F 850 GS is dedicated to serve its admirers with much power and torque along with more distinctive touring capabilities and supreme off-road ability.

Powering for both the models comes from the similar new 853 cc twin-cylinder in-line engine that is in tune with two counterbalance shafts and a firing interval of 270/450 degrees. The mentioned engine churns out 77 hp at 7500 rpm for the new F 750 GS while the pushing power for the new F 850 GS is 95 hp at 8250 by the same mechanicals. With the use of a crankshaft with a 90 degree journal offset and a 270/450 degree firing interval help the bike maker in attaining a powerful and emotionally appealing sound from the exhaust.
