All set to launch in India sometime in March-April this year, the much-awaited naked streetfighter from TVS-BMW alliance, the BMW G310R has received a new exhaust system as an option. Supplied from the Akrapovic house, the exhaust system is available in two trims of Racing Line (SS) and Racing Line (Carbon).
These exhaust systems as recognized globally, not only make the vehicle more appealing but also produce an attention seeking exhaust note. Apart from this, they also support the propelling mill in churning out more power and delivering that torque to enhance the performance of the machine. As claimed this Akrapovic Racing Line exhaust induces more power and torque by 2.4bhp and 2.7Nm respectively.
From the offered two new exhaust systems, the Racing Line (Stainless Steel) is 3.3kg less heavy than the stock exhaust. While the Racing Line (Carbon Fibre) is 4.6kg lighter.
The availability of this exhaust system in European markets will be in March at a price sticker of near about EUR 610 (Rs 43,000). While Indian market will get this, sometimes after the launch of BMW G310R, which is expected in March-April 2017. These exhaust offerings are expected to be produced in the Indian market through the Akrapovic official importers in the country.
