BMW India has launched its first diesel car in the Indian market. This cooper d is in the form of countryman and available at all mini dealership in the country. The starting price of this luxury car is Rs.25.60 lakh. The company has launched this new vehicle very silently without any big buzz. This mini cooper d countryman is launched just after starting of BMW local production mini plant near Chennai.
New diesel mini is available in two models- countryman high and countryman. Both are powered models with 1.6 litre diesel engine. Its torque is 270 and power is 122ps. These two countryman models will give tough competition to upcoming Mercedes A class series which is launching on May 30, 2013.
Mini Cooper Countryman will be available at Rs.25.60 lakh and Countryman high will be available at Rs.28.9 lakh. It can reach at the speed of 0-100km in just 9.9 seconds. BMW has made it very comfortable and user friendly. Its engine produces 115 gm/km carbon which is a good factor. The biggest plus point of the car is its mileage of 19.5kmpl which makes it different from other luxury brands. BMW is going to proved itself a remarkable automobile brand which this new launch.
