BMW M4 Facelift Spotted With GTS Performance Parts

The facelift version of BMW M4 has been spotted testing a penalty of times in Spain and other global markets. In the recent spy shots, the new M4 has been captured with the performance parts that are inspired by those of hardcore GTS. The BMW M4 facelift is expected to go on sale by the mid of next year in some international markets.

As per the Autocar reports, the 2017 BMW M4 which has already been received facelift update once, will get the same front splitter and air intakes which have been seen on M4 GTS to enhance the overall aggressiveness of the car. Moreover, the slightly camouflaged test mule also features a larger rear spoiler than the ongoing BMW M4 and new LED taillamps which look similar to the facelifted version of the 3-series, and also has been found on the standard 4 Series Gran Coupe during a test run.

On the mechanical front, no major updations are being expected on the new 2017 BMW M4. it will continue to get the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight 6-cylinder under the hood, which also powers the current generation model. The mill churns out a maximum power of 425 hp along with the peak torque of 550 Nm. However, these figures are expected to get a bump on the 2017 BMW M4 and power will be close to 444 hp.

Inside the cabin, few changes can be expected over the current M4, including some fresh tech-genius equipment. However, the range-topping BMW 7 Series comes with the autonomous technology, but the 4 Series and M4 are unlikely to get such systems until the next all-new model is launched by the decade-end.

Like the current model, when the facelifted M4 launches in next year it’ll lock the horns with the likes of Mercedes-AMG C 63 and all-electric Tesla Model S in the global markets.
