The German car maker BMW's performance car division M series are popular for their rear wheel drive format and manual gear mechanism for the drifting pleasures. Now, the reports are coming out in the market that the company might offer its M2 car in all-wheel drive system at selected markets in the world. There also have been confirmation that for the xDrive all wheel drive will be made available on its M5 car as an option. However, the AWD will only be available in a few selected markets and that too hasn't been finalized yet and so as the existence of the M2 as well.
Talking about the engine, the M2 is supposed to be powered by a 3.0 Litre turbocharged 6-Cylinder inline engine which would be able to churn out around 400 hp mark and would be the correct competitor of the M-Benz A45 AMG and Audi RS3 cars. The car might be getting unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show 2015.
The price of the car has not been decided yet also, but it could be somewhere near to the INR 45 lac or more. Well, the car seems promising and the BMW fans would definitely be waiting for the all-wheel drive performance packed M series cars.
