BMW Pay Homage to F10 M5 with Special Competition Edition

If you remember the sixth generation BMW M5, which was earlier launched in the year 2009, it is now approaching towards an ending phase. As a symbol of its last goodbye, a special edition of the unit has been presented for company’s valuable customers. Dubbed as the BMW M5 Competition Edition, it will come out with a limited run of 200 units across worldwide.

Although, the F10-generation BMW M5 has enough power to leave behind its rivals, however, the 2016 Competition Edition gets 592 horsepower against the 552 Bhp as well as complemented by a torque of 502 lb ft unlike the 516 lb ft. After having boosted in power, now the car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds that is slightly faster than the regular one, while the top speed remains same with electronically limited to 250 km/h. Well, only a dual clutch 7-speed automatic transmission box is there, while the manual counterpart has been kept off the table.

In order to amplify the balance between handling and performance output, the BMW M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition has been adorned by the standard competition package which includes a set of 20-inch forged wheels altogether with black finished kidney grille, and carbon fibre for exhaust outlets.

Furthermore, it has also got a redesigned steering system integrated with M Servotronic function, a revamped M Dynamic stability control system and a firmer suspension system that is lowered by 0.4-inches. As soon as you enter the cabin, you will be welcomed by the new Black Merino leather offset that is stitched in Opal White color.
