BMW to Exhibit Various Models at Delhi Auto Expo

As the countdown has begun for the grand auto event this year, not only the domestic firms but also the international brands teasing with the videos, posters and making announcements to attract the motoring enthusiasts by their new concepts and technologies. In the same run, the Indian arm of the German automaker, BMW Motorrad has made an announcement that the automaker will showcase its various models at the Delhi Auto Expo, starting from the 5th February 2016. The product portfolio encompasses BMW S1000XR , BMW S1000RR, BMW R nineT, BMW R1200GS to arrive at the event.

BMW S1000RR

The super Sportbike BMW S1000RR has the heart of 1.0-litre four-pot to flow the power of 198 hp at 13,500 rpm and 113 Nm of torque. The mill is gathered to a six-speed transmission. The motorcycle went through an adequate upgrade and receive two new color options of Racing Red non-metallic and Slack Storm metallic, since mid-2015. The super sports BMW S1000RR is on sale for Indian BMW lovers.

BMW R nineT

2016 BMW R nine T

The BMW R nineT gets power from a 1,170 cc, flat twin (Boxer), four stroke, air or oil-cooled engine that manages to generate power of 110 hp at 7,550 rpm and 119 Nm at 6,000 rpm. All the power has been transferred to the rear wheel via six-speed transmission with gearbox. The update model 2016 BMW R nine T has additional features of heated handlebar grips and hand-brushed exposed aluminum fuel tanks for the riders convenience.

BMW S1000XR

BMW S1000XR is the blend of an adventure tourer with the dynamic features of a sports bike, the BMW S1000XR shares the same engine of S1000RR. The in-line four-cylinder motor with engine displacement of 999cc produces 160 hp and is mated to a six-speed transmission that is governed by the Gear Shift Assist Pro to transfer all the power to the rear wheel. The motorcycle is currently not available for sale in India.

BMW R1200GS

2016 BMW R1200GS

The adventure tourer BMW R1200GS shares the same engine of BMW R nine T. The 1,170cc flat-twin engine churns out the power of 125 hp at 7,750 rpm and torque of 125 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The mill is mated to the six-speed transmission. The automaker replaced the Black storm metallic and Alpine white non-metallic with the light white non-metallic color scheme for the new model of 2016 in the American market.
