2018 BMW 630d GT Introduced At Rs 66.50 lakh

BMW has launched the 2018 BMW 630d in diesel unit at Rs 66.50 lakh. It is not available in the petrol 630i, but the 630d comes in two variants including M Sport and Luxury Line.

The new BMW model is powered by a six-cylinder, 3.0-litre, diesel engine generating an output of 265hp/620Nm and paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox running on the rear wheels.

The exterior is just similar for diesel and petrol versions of the 6 GT along with the placed badge at back side. The M Sport trim in diesel option obtains a rear apron, side skirts, black touch to the grille, M Sport brake package and large front air intakes. The M Sport is also available with lighter and larger 19-inch alloy wheels.

The 630i Luxury Line and 630d use the same kit along with features, a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, a digital instrument cluster and 360-degree cameras, park assist, four-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, navigation control, Apple CarPlay connectivity, a wireless smartphone charger, two 10.2-inch screens, a rear-seat entertainment system, voice-controlled iDrive infotainment system, and BMW’s gesture control.

The top trim M Sport obtains a soft-close door function, a head-up display, full-color projection, and Nappa leather upholstery.
Air suspension and a launch control function come as standard. Coming to the safety, it includes traction control, brake assist, Isofix child seat mounts, hill descent control, ABS with stability, cornering brake and six airbags. Now, the BMW 630i has also updated in price and available at Rs. 61.80 lakh.

The BMW 6 will compete for the Mercedes-Benz E-class, which is here only with the long-wheelbase form in India. The 2018 BMW 630d is available with a price tag of Rs. 58.61 lakh and Rs 72.85 lakh. BMW 5-series is available between Rs 53.80 lakh to Rs 66.20 lakh.
