Bonneville Street Tracker: New Avatar @ London Bike Shed

At the London Bike Shed, which is majorly known as the one virtual wooden roof for Scramblers, Bobbers, Street Trackers, Flat Trackers and Cafe-Racers; a new entrant has graced the environment. And, it is none other the well-famed Triumph Bonneville in a newly customized pattern, christened as Triumph Bonneville “Street-Tracker”. In order to build this state-of-the-art motorcycle, the British two-wheeler maker had teamed up with the Barbour International, a motorcycle clothing brand inspired by the company’s heritage since 1936.

Detailing about the Triumph Bonneville Street-Tracker, it is a one-off customized Bonne, which is crafted to promote a whole new clothing line for Triumph from Barbour. Designed around the very same frame, it is a flat-track street Bonne flaunting a classic and premium styling along with aggressive performance. The gently masculine frame is accompanied by an air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin cylinder motor configuration carrying an engine displacement of 865cc.

With more puffed up fuel tank incorporated with flattened long seat, the Street-Tracker successfully gains the British heritage look. With a touch of the shiny Blue paint scheme over the exposed components such as front and rear suspension, engine cowl and over the fuel tank flaunts glamorous style of the motorcycle. The 7-spoke alloy wheels have been replaced by the wire-spoke wheels with broad at the rear. The sharp tail section completely matches up with the theme of Street-Tracker given to the motorcycle. The size of the exhaust tail has been shortened up by the custom-makers.

Triumph Bonneville in Wooden Influence

Even after acquiring various new components, the Bonneville Street Tracker has missed out various other things such as sub-frame, battery box, instrument cluster, rear passenger seat and metal work, and pillion foot-pegs for obvious reasons. The rear suspension has been replaced by rear shocks, catered by K-Tech Razor and front are being taken from Street Triple R Stablemate.

With the first in class collaboration of the Triumph Motorcycles with a clothing firm, it would be quite exciting to see various cut-off denim jackets, knitwears, shirts and strong-tees coming out; exclusively designed by Barbour International.
