Nissan has officially announced the booking of the SUV- the Kicks. The interested customer can book the compact SUV by giving the initial price of Rs 25,000 to the dealership or via online.
Hardeep Singh Brar, director - sales and commercials, Nissan Motors India in a statement said “The new Nissan Kicks is a testimony to our commitment to bring the best of global products and technology to our customers in India. We are confident that, with its progressive SUV design and advanced technology, the Kicks will appeal to new-age urban adventure seekers”.
The platform of the Kicks is same as of the Renault Captur. The kicks will be offered with 110hp 1.5-litre K9K diesel powertrain mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 106hp 1.5-litre petrol powertrain mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Nissan Kicks have been equipped with the 360-degree camera (first-in-class), 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED projector headlamps and cruise control.
Nissan Kicks is expected to be launched in January 2019 and will compete with the rivals Hyundai Creta, the Maruti S-cross and the Renault Captur.
